About

First established in 1994 by artist and curator Nick Lawrence (also owner/director of Freight+Volume and Arts+Leisure in New York) as a regional satellite to the Boston and New York scenes, DNA Gallery quickly developed a reputation as one of the foremost cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary, seasonal venues on the East Coast. In addition to its annual provocative themed group and featured shows, DNA has hosted a wide variety of scheduled events including readings, videos, theatrical readings, dance, performance, etc. In 2012 the gallery commenced its summer residency program.

About

Established in 2012 the DNA Summer Residency Program invites artists to participate in a one or two-week residency in Provincetown, Massachusetts. While on the Cape, artists create new work inspired by their environment or continued from their existing studio practice. They work both offsite and at DNA in a 2,000 square foot studio. At the end of the Summer, a group exhibition is held at DNA that runs through to October.

Open by appointment only, June through October.
