First established in 1994 by artist and curator Nick Lawrence as a regional satellite to the Boston and New York scenes, DNA Gallery quickly developed a reputation as one of the foremost cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary, seasonal venues on the East Coast. In addition to its annual provocative themed group and featured shows, DNA has hosted a wide variety of scheduled events including readings, videos, theatrical readings, dance, performance, etc. In 2011 the gallery commenced under the direction of and curating by Kevin Rita of Brick Walk Fine Art, West Hartford, Connecticut.
